CAMPO Coordinated Public Transit-Health and Human Service Transportation Plan

The Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) and the Capital Area Regional Transportation Coordination Committee (RTCC) are working with regional public transit providers and human service agencies on a Coordinated Public Transit-Health and Human Service Transportation Plan. This round of public outreach is focused on presenting strategies to address unmet transportation needs and transportation service gaps in the Capital Area Region. Focus is placed on the needs of senior adults, people with disabilities, and low income residents.

Attend an open house and provide your comments on the proposed strategies to address identified unmet transportation needs and transportation service gaps. All open house sessions are a come-and-go format; there will be no formal presentation. The open house sessions will be held throughout the region:

 

Monday, Jan. 23 (4-7 p.m.): Burnet County Lakeside Pavilion—307 Buena Vista, Marble Falls

Tuesday, Jan. 24 (4-7 p.m.): Cedar Park Library (Small Conference Room)—550 Discovery Blvd.

Wednesday, Jan. 25 (4-7 p.m.): Eugene Clark Library—217 S. Main Street, Lockhart

Wednesday, Jan. 25 (4-7p.m.): Fleming Community Center—802 N. Avenue C, Elgin

Thursday, Jan. 26 (4-7 p.m.): Texas State University LBJ Student Center—109 Student Center Drive, San Marcos

Wednesday, Feb. 1 (4-7 p.m.): Wimberley Community Center—14068 Ranch Road 12

Thursday, Feb. 2 (2-7 p.m.): Del Valle Opportunity Center—5301 Ross Road, Del Valle

Friday, Feb. 3 (10 a.m.-2 p.m.): Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired—1100 W. 45th Street, Austin

Monday, Feb. 6 (4-7 p.m.): Llano Public Library—102 E. Haynie Street

Tuesday, Feb. 7 (4-7 p.m.): Blanco Old County Courthouse—300 Main Street

Wednesday, Feb. 8. (11 a.m.-2 p.m.):  Fayette Public Library—855 S. Jefferson Street, La Grange

Wednesday, Feb.8 (3:30-6 p.m.): Giddings Library—276 N. Orange St.

  

Public comments will be accepted until 5 p.m. on February 13, 2017
