COVID-19 Relief Program for Municipal Court

 

Due to the pandemic (COVID-19) the City of Manor Municipal Court is offering assistance to defendants with outstanding cases by implementing a COVID-19 Relief Program. This program is effective Monday June 22nd, 2020 and continues until further notice. Defendants with open cases will be given safe harbor when voluntarily making arrangements on their cases. 

 

Defendants who pay their citation(s) or active warrant(s) in full or pays a minimum of one-half (1/2) the total amount due and starts a payment plan for the balance owed, shall be eligible to have all warrant and collection fees waived (if applicable). Defendants who pay their citation(s) or active warrant(s) in full may have an additional fifty percent (50%) of the fine amount waived. Defendants who pay half of their citations(s) or active warrant(s) may have an additional twenty percent (20%) of the fine amount waived with the remaining balance placed on a payment plan of $50 a month until paid in full. The COVID-19 Relief Program will not waive any portion of the court costs.

 

 

To request participation in this program, please fill out the COVID-19 Relief Program request form : COVID-19 RELIEF PROGRAM REQUEST FORM and either email the form to the court at court@cityofmanor.org or fax to 512-272-8636. A court clerk will respond to your request as soon as possible.
