Conflict of Interest Disclosures

 

VENDOR DISCLOSURE

 

Pursuant to Chapter 176 of the Texas Local Government Code, a vendor or other person who contracts or seeks to contract with the City of Manor must complete a conflict of interest questionnaire with the City. The conflict of interest questionnaire, can be downloaded by vising the Texas Ethics Commission. The form must be filed with the City Secretary's Office.

  

LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICER DISCLOSURE

 

This law also requires local government officers to complete a conflicts disclosure statement with respect to certain vendors who contract or seek to contract with the City of Manor. The Local Government Officer Conflicts Disclosure Statement must be filed once the local government officer becomes aware of facts that require the officer to file this statement in accordance with Chapter 176, Local Government Code.  This form must be filed with the City Secretary's Office.  

By law this statement must be filed no later than the 7th business day after the person becomes aware of facts that require the statement to be filed.  An offense under Chapter 176 is a Class C misdemeanor.

If you (or a person/entity that you represent) enter or seek to enter into a contract with the City of Manor, these are the "Local Government Officers" for purposes of determining whether you must file a Questionnaire pursuant to Chapter 176 of the Local Government Code.
