Forms used for Municipal Court
The following forms may be used to assist an individual doing business with the Court. Questions concerning these documents shall be directed to the Court Staff.

 

REQUESTING A RESET 

Per the Judges' standing order (Appearances, Dockets & Continuances), Defendants wishing to request a reset for their case(s) must submit an written Motion for Continuance.  Below is the "Defendant's Motion for Continuance" form that must be completed and either emailed - court@manortx.gov or faxed to 512-272-8636 for consideration:

DEFENDANT'S MOTION FOR CONTINUANCE FORM

 

Defendant has been arrested for a City of Manor Warrant and would like to "POST BOND" to be released. In order to be released the Defendant must make a plea and post a bond in the amount indicated on the Warrant. Defendant shall APPEAR before the Manor Municipal Court no later than the 4th Thursday of every month following arrest month. Failure to appear, even though bond was posted, will result in another warrant being issued for Defendant's arrest. If arrested by Travis County Precinct #2 use this form.
Defendant was arrested and posted a cash bond. Defendant has outstanding fine and court costs with the Manor Municipal Court and would like to release the cash bond posted and apply the cash bond to outstanding case files within the Manor Municipal Court.
Defendant has been arrested for a City of Manor Warrant and would like to have another individual "POST BOND" on their behalf to be released. In order to be released the Defendant must make a plea and the third party is taking responsibility by posting a bond on the Defendant's behalf with the promise to APPEAR before the Manor Municipal Court no later than the 4th Thursday of every month following the arrest month. Failure to appear, even though another individual posted a bond on behalf of the Defendant, will result in another warrant being issued for Defendant's arrest.

DEFERRED DISPOSITION APPLICATION (SPANISH)

This application is to be used when requesting a deferred disposition through the Court. HOLDERS OF COMMERCIAL DRIVER'S LICENSE'S ARE NOT ELIGIBLE. If requesting a deferral for a "No Insurance" citation the Insurance Affidavit form must also be submitted.

These documents are used to request an indigent hearing. Failure to turn in documents by due date and/or failure to appear for hearing will result in a conviction and final judgment. It is imperative you follow the directions of the Court.
DRIVING SAFETY COURSE APPLICATOIN (SPANISH)
This application is to be used when requesting a driving safety course deferral through the Court. HOLDERS OF A COMMERCIAL DRIVER'S LICENSE ARE NOT ELIGIBLE. Refer to the Deferral Tab.
This form is used for Defendant's requesting an Insurance Deferral.

MUNICIPAL COURT RECORDS REQUEST
This form is used whenever an individual is requesting Municipal Court Documents. This request must be approved by the presiding judge before records can be released.

 

MOTION FOR DISCOVERY FORM 

This form is used whenever an defendant is requesting copies of evidence or copies of documents relating to their case(s). This request must be approved by the city prosecutor before records can be released.

PAYMENT PLAN APPLICAITON (SPANISH)

This form is to be used when requesting a payment plan.
This form is used to make a plea regarding the charges filed against a Defendant.
 

CITIZEN COMPLAINT

This form / packet is used for citizens who wish to file a complaint against another citizen for a Class C misdemeanor violation or City ordinance violation. The affidavit must be sworn to before a court clerk or Notary Public for the state of Texas.
