2018 Trash Pickup Guidelines

Republic Services and the City of Manor make every possible attempt to provide residents with safe, clean and sanitary trash pickup.   There have been instances in the past where overloaded residential carts have had trash and debris fall out during servicing, which can result in both a sanitary condition as well as a safety concern for the driver that has to pick up the fallen debris by hand.  Effective Thursday, March 1, 2018.  Republic Services will only service trash containers that have all the contents located within the cart with the lid fully closed.    Any contents located outside the container will not be serviced and any carts with the lids propped open due to excessive trash will not be serviced as well.  Republic Services and the City of Manor have provisions within the contract to allow residents who have needs for more service than can currently be provided by a single 95 gallon trash cart to obtain a second trash cart at a minimal expense.    If you have any questions, please contact the City of Manor at 512 272-5555 or Republic Services at
