As of July 5, 2016, the City of Manor has partnered with the Capitol Area Council of Governments and the Louisiana-based South Central Planning & Development Commission to offer the MyPermitNow (
www.mygovernmentonline.org) online permitting system for accepting and processing a variety of building, trade, zoning and development applications. Residents, contractors, design professionals and others are able to apply online for permits, upload plans in pdf format, obtain permits, request inspections, and view inspection reports through MyPermitNow.
On the www.mygovernmentonline.org homepage:
Choose PERMITS AND LICENSING for building permits, trade permits, accessory structures, deck/patios, etc.
Choose PLANNING AND ZONING for subdivision plats, site plans, zoning, conditional uses, waivers, etc.
Click here to download the instructional guide which walks you through the process of setting up a user account, applying for permits and other functions of the MyPermitNow system. If you do not have access to a computer or the internet, a kiosk is located in the lobby of Public Works at 416 Gregg Street.
