Site Development
Site plans are required for all development within the city limits and Shadowglen, excluding single-family development, to ensure compliance with City ordinances and development standards. Site plans include the property boundaries, easements, land use, vehicle and pedestrian ingress and egress, utilities, drainage, off-street parking, lighting, signage, and landscaping. City engineers issue comments within 30 days of receiving a completed application. Plans are also reviewed and approved by Travis County Emergency Services District 12 (TCESD 12). Plans are approved administratively. Properties located in the ETJ are permitted through Travis County.
